Joe Kaplan

Joe KaplanJoe Kaplan is an actor and comedian from Springfield Illinois, the birthplace of the corn dog and Abe Lincoln’s final resting spot. After college, Joe settled in Chicago where he performed at the Second City, Improv Olympic, and The Annoyance Theatre.

Kaplan has warmed up the audience for a multitude of celebrities including Ryan Seacrest, Danny Bonaduce, Megan Mullally, Morton Downey, Kat Deeley, and Alfonzo Ribeiro. Joe guest starred on “Early Edition” for CBS, was a carpenter for HGTV and has appeared in numerous commercials. Kaplan recently moved to Los Angeles where he performs stand up and sketch comedy all over town including The Comedy Store, The Improv, The Icehouse, UCB, and IO West.

He lives in Pasadena with his wife Tracy and daughters Zoe and Lily. Joe takes great pride that both his kids are lead free and have all of their digits. In his spare time Joe enjoys writing about himself in third person.
